1. Introduction
CeeStock (“the App”) is an inventory and sales management application for Android developed by Verni Interface (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles inventory records, business information and related data.
Inventory and business records are stored locally on the device. These records are exported only when the user initiates a data export or backup.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
CeeStock has no account, no ads and no server of its own. We do not receive your inventory, sales records, supplier contacts, notes or product photos. The App does not access your device’s location or address book. We do not sell your information.
CeeStock does not send us usage analytics or crash reports. Google’s scanning service handles technical metrics as described in section 5.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send so we can respond.
3. In-App Purchases
CeeStock offers subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase through Google Play Billing. Google processes payments, and we never receive your payment details. The App stores purchase identifiers and plan status locally to apply your plan and restore purchases. It uses an Android device identifier locally to protect the saved plan status; this is not sent to us.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
4. Local Data Storage
Your business profile, products, barcodes, prices, stock movements, categories, supplier contact details, photos, drafts and settings are stored in the App’s private storage on your device.
CeeStock also keeps local error logs, weekly safety snapshots and recovery copies before restoring a backup. It retains up to three snapshots and three recovery copies, replacing older ones. Error logs rotate as they fill and are not uploaded to us.
Your records leave the App when you choose to export a CSV or full backup. Backups include your database and product photos. Android’s file picker lets you choose where to save or open files, including cloud providers whose own privacy policies apply.
Android’s automatic backup and device transfer can include appearance settings only. Business records, photos, purchase details, snapshots and error logs are excluded. Use CeeStock’s full backup and restore to move your inventory.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google Play Billing processes purchases and confirms your plan to the App.
- Google ML Kit powers barcode scanning. Images and barcode results are processed on your device. Google receives device, app and installation information, scanning performance and usage metrics, and error codes to operate and improve the service. See ML Kit’s privacy information.
- Apps and storage providers you choose handle exported files, emails and shared links under their own privacy policies.
Google’s services are covered by the Google Privacy Policy, including its retention and deletion practices.
Camera permission is used for barcode scanning. You can deny it and enter barcodes manually. Product photos and files are selected through Android’s pickers, without general storage access.
6. Children’s Privacy
CeeStock is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address it.
7. Data Security
Your data is protected by Android’s private app storage and your device’s security, such as screen lock and encryption. Google’s scanning metrics are encrypted in transit. Keep exported CSV and backup files somewhere safe, because CeeStock does not encrypt them.
8. Your Rights & Data Deletion
To delete all local CeeStock data, clear the App’s storage in Android Settings or uninstall the App. This removes its records, private photos, snapshots, settings and error logs. Archiving a product, category or supplier keeps its record and history.
Delete exported files, original photos and cloud copies separately. Google controls the purchase records and scanning metrics it holds under its own policy.
We cannot access your inventory. Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of support correspondence. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or meet legal obligations.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
